Tu Yu Shou (b. 1987, Taiwan) 

 

Graduated from National Taiwan University of Arts in 2014, he studied at The University of Tsukuba and was specialized in Japanese painting in 2011. Tu applies traditional ink painting techniques to illustrate contemporary landscape and narrative. He experiments traditional ink and pigment on silk scroll, the unusual vibrant colors create a dramatic contrast with the poetic resonance in his works, offering audience a new perspective to perceive ink paintings.
